Tilmicosin is a macrolide antibiotic synthesized from tylosin,It developed for veterinary use only.and it has an antibacterial spectrum similar to tylosin with enhanced activity against Pasteurella haemolytica, P.multocida, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, mycoplasma species and other microorganisms found sensitive to this compound.
