The photo-eye target to the colors marks on the printed material, this color marks indicate where to cut, and you can use vernier to measure the distance based movement of shafts and rollers. Even
the material have no color marks we can use servo motor and the PLC on the machine to control the exact length you wanna cut, by this you control where to cut and where stop, in other word, servo motor and computer screen is the way to program it to move one inch or two inch.then press and stop.the servo motor is on a separate shelf, it is neither on rewind shaft nor on the material feeding shaft.
