REDDA/NESDA aims to reinforce the capacities of organizations and individuals to devise and execute programmes and actions to promote sustainable development. Publishes studies and articles on sustainable development and distributes drought-related information produced by remote sensing and mapping. Provides a forum for networking and discussion on promoting sustainable development. Collaborates with other intergovernmental bodies on projects aimed at reducing desertification in Sahelian countries.
