USN is a national network of affiliated NGOs with a common vision and mission. Its vision is a democratic society in a sustainable environment in which social and economic justice prevails for all. The USN promotes innovative, sustainable, and integrated approaches to human settlement development through a focus on housing, land, infrastructure, livelihoods, and good governance, with an emphasis on the poor and vulnerable. USN activities include advocacy, research, training and capacity building, information dissemination, promoting participation, process facilitation, and project development.
