Japan Environmental Safety Corporation (JESCO) is a special company wholly owned by the government, established on April 1 2004. JESCO has succeeded mainly the PCB waste treatment program of former Japan Environment Corporation (JEC). JESCO's mission is to construct and operate five regional facilities to treat PCB (polychlorinated biphenyl) wastes in Japan.
