ICLEI is a membership association of local governments and local government associations that have made a unique commitment to sustainable environment. At present, ICLEI's growing membership comprises more than 420 local government authorities and their associations world-wide. ICLEI's mission is to build and serve a worldwide movement of local governments to achieve tangible improvements in global environmental and sustainable development conditions through cumulative local actions.
