GREEN is a formally constituted association of approximately 45 community-based organizations located in urban, peri-urban and rural environment of Pietermaritzburg-Msunduzi and surrounding areas. Its mission is to provide a platform for communities to articulate concerns regarding environmental matters and to elicit support for solutions to environmental problems socially, financially and ecologically sustainable way, while at the same time striving to improve the quality of life of the disadvantaged communities.
