DME develop national policy framework & participate in implementation of different strategies both directly and indirectly. For example: Directly through appointing regional co-ordinators and facilitating the opening up of energy centres nationally, Indirectly through appointment of implementers such as the concessionaires for the non-grid electrification programme, and Research Commissioning.
